Diarrhoea is when you pass looser or more stools than is normal for you. It is common in adults, children and babies and is often caused by an infection. It will usually go away by itself in a few days. Plenty of fluids should be taken to reduce the chance of dehydration. There are also oral rehydration sachets to help prevent dehydration. If needed antidiarrhoeals are available to reduce your diarrhoea and shorten how long it lasts.
