Introduction

These terms and conditions apply between you, the User of this Website (including any sub-domains, unless expressly excluded by their own terms and conditions), and Hightown Pharmacy, the owner and operator of this Website. Please read these terms and conditions carefully, as they affect your legal rights. Your agreement to comply with and be bound by these terms and conditions is deemed to occur upon your first use of the Website. If you do not agree to be bound by these terms and conditions, you should stop using the Website immediately. In these terms and conditions, User or Users means any third party that accesses the Website and is not either (i) employed by Hightown Pharmacy and acting in the course of their employment or (ii) engaged as a consultant or otherwise providing services to Hightown Pharmacy and accessing the Website in connection with the provision of such services. You must be at least 18 years of age to use this Website. By using the Website and agreeing to these terms and conditions, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age.

Your Account

You must provide the correct details when signing up, any errors made at signup may result in order delays or cancellations. On registering use a password that you do not use for any other website that is secure. You should keep your password confidential and do not disclose it to anyone else. You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for any activity on your account.

Orders

You must be 18 years or older to place an order with us.
An identity check will be performed based if your order includes a 'P medicine' or a 'Prescription Only Medicine' using the home address provided, you can choose to have a different shipping address as long as the same name is used.
If the first identity check fails you may be asked to provide additional documents such as but not limited to: Passport; Driving license; Utility Bills; Failure to check your identity will result in your order being cancelled and if believed to have been provided fraudulently the fraud action team will be notified.
If you are ordering a P medicine the confidential consultation you fill in will only be viewed by the pharmacist on duty and the pharmacy staff.
If you are ordering a Prescription Only Medicine the confidential consultation you fill in will only be viewed by our pharmacist independent prescriber.
If any further information is required for your orders you will be contacted via the website on your order confirmation page, you must keep a link to your order page should we need to contact you, we may also contact you via email or telephone if needed.
You must provide accurate, current and complete information during the ordering process we are not responsible for any errors you make during ordering.
When you place an order this is not a contractual offer to sell the goods until the order is accepted by us. On order completion you will receive an email confirmed we have your order, until your order has been dispatched your order may be cancelled for any reason, but we will always offer an explanation where possible.
If you notice any errors during order confirmation you must notify us immediately.
No payment is taken until the order is accepted instead a charge is placed against your account. Any orders cancalled by either yourself or us will be refunded in 3-5 working days, this may not show as a refund if no payment was taken, instead the charge will simply be removed.

Online Consultations

The online consultation service is owned and run by Hightown Pharmacy. The prescriber at the moment is Farzin Ghayedy, who is regulated by the General Pharmaceutical Council, 25 Canada Square, London, E14 5LQ. You can check his registration status on the GPhC Pharmacist Register.

Delivery

Delivery timescales are from the moment your order is accepted by us not from the moment you place the order. We aim to give you an update on your order the same working day and disptach it the same day but if this is not possible, it may take up to 3 working days. You must order medicines with enough time for them to be delivered, the process will not be sped up for any reason. You agree we are not liable for any delays or consequences of delays in the delivery of goods, especially if the delay is due to the delivery company.
On delivery to the chosen address the goods will become your responsibility.

Price and payment

The price at the time of order is what will be agreed. Any price changes after your place an order will not affect your order.
All prices include VAT where appropriate.
A credit or debit card must be used with sufficient funds to allow us to place a charge against your account.

When you have completed an order we will send you an automated email asking for your feedback.

Cancellations and Returns

You can cancel any order that hasn't been dispatched for any reason, without incurring any liability.
Any order that has been dispatched is unable to be refunded or returned.
