What is Hydromol Ointment?

Hydromol Ointment is a thick, fragrance-free emollient used to treat very dry or irritated skin. It forms a protective barrier that helps lock in moisture and reduce itching. This versatile ointment can also be used as a soap substitute or bath additive, making it ideal for people with eczema, psoriasis, or other dry skin conditions. It is suitable for all ages, including babies.

How does it work?

Hydromol Ointment contains soft white paraffin, yellow soft paraffin, and liquid paraffin. These ingredients create an oily layer on the skin that prevents moisture loss, soothes itching, and helps repair the skin barrier. Regular use keeps the skin hydrated and protected from everyday irritants.

How to use Hydromol Ointment

• As a moisturiser: Apply to dry areas of skin as often as needed
• As a cleanser: Rub a small amount on wet skin and rinse off instead of using soap
• As a bath additive: Dissolve a spoonful in warm water and add to the bath
• Use regularly: Especially after bathing or showering to trap moisture
